Acholiland is located in Northern Uganda and the very South of Southern Sudan. The people in Acholiland have their own native language and very distinct culture to other ethnic groups in the area. This part of Uganda is unfortunately best known by the conflict caused by the LRA – the Lord’s Resistance Army led by Joseph Kony.
